You didn't ask me, but while I was in Amsterdam I thought this sign affixed to the wall of our hotel bathroom was pretty amusing.It was only readable while seated on the toilet. Curious that.
My other thought about Amsterdam is that it's a damn livable city. Even if it is bicycle crazy - never saw so many bicycles anywhere in the world.
And all the residents looked pretty fit. And tall. And blond.
We fell in love with the place - loved the art, design sense and food and of course the intelligence and curiosity of the Dutch.
Also thought it was one of the most beautiful and romantic places we've ever been.
Can't wait to return.
