Republican Hypocrisy

You didn't ask me, but I think the Republican Party represents hypocrisy more than anything else.

First The GOP tells us that the Palin mess is a private family matter and should be kept out of politics.

And then they turn around and message-train the two kids that are supposed to be sheltered form the media spotlight, and prepare them to be part of the national GOP narrative tonight.

Hypocrites! The GOP only exploits kids when it's to their advantage.

And in the process of practicing the latest hypocrisy, they raise the level of GOP approval of this pregnancy to that of idolatry. And when the fetus becomes an idol the focus of national policy shifts to "V" - for Very Bad.

Only the Republican Party can spin a continually failing abstinence-only-until-marriage national policy into the fabric of "family values."
